Dr Colleen Cournot has been practicing dentistry for over 30
years. She received her doctoral degree
in dentistry from Columbia University, and her B. S. in Chemistry from Trinity
College in Hartford, Connecticut.
Her practice totally revolves around her patients. She is committed to listening attentively to
her patients’ hopes dreams and desires, and providing them with the quality
dentistry they want.
She attends regular hands-on post graduate dental programs
including the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Institute, the Pride Institute and
the Center for Advanced Dental Studies. She was appointed a Fellow in the
Academy of General Dentistry in recognition of her commitment to continuing
education.
Dr. Cournot contributes to the improvement of the dental
profession. She is an active member of
the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Last October she was inducted into the American College of Dentists, an
honorary society.
She also selects and trains the dentists of tomorrow. She is a faculty member of Columbia School of
Dental Medicine, a member of the admissions committee, and a lecturer and
facilitator in the Ethics Department.
Dr Cournot has lived in NoHo with her husband Pierre since
1979. Her interests include cycling,
cooking, French and photography.
